FINE HARDWOODS
We use only the finest hardwoods in the construction
of our mantels. When you place your mantel order with us, you can select one of
the "stain-grade" hardwoods shown at left.
We can accommodate requests for most other types of wood as well, so please
ask, if you don't see what you need here.
STAIN SHADES
All sample photos shown here are of unfinished wood.
Our pricing includes your choice of stain shades, followed by 3 coats of
high-grade finish. Available stain selections are nearly unlimited.
We use Sherwin-Williams Wood Classics
professional-grade stains, with samples available at your local Sherwin-Williams
paint store. We will gladly assist you in making a selection, providing stained
wood samples if needed.
PAINT GRADE
If your mantel will be painted to match the walls or
trim in your room, you will want to select our "paint-grade" wood
(poplar), which we sand and prime, making the mantel ready to paint after
installation.
